In achieving the goals of institutions, there are some activities undertaken. Such as: 

Education 

The education activites undertaken by Rahima are done through  Education for Adult Approach, that emphasizes the action and reflection process by combining the class room and out door/field activities. Every participant of Rahima’s education program, after obtaining their class-room education activity, they are requested to do the direct observations from the reality in the society around them in order to be reported in their working paper which is called as Amanah Tadarus (The Mandate of the Classroom Learning). 

A series of Rahima’s Education Program, usually consist of one up to five series of tadarrus/class-room meeting workshop. Several subjects that are delivered through this tadarrus/class-room meeting workshop namely: Building Gender Sensitivity, Sexuality Reproductive Rights and Health (SRHR),  Social Analysis and Globalization, Methodology of  Gender Friendly Islamic Studies which consists of  The Study of Tafsir/Quranic Exegesis, The Study of Hadith, The Study of Fiqh, including the law making conclusion of the religious issues (Istimbath al-Ahkam)  which are implemented by some religious based/Islamic based organisation and also KUPI (Kongres Ulama Perempuan Indonesia) or Indonesian Women Ulama Congres. Rahima was one of the key inistitutions which initiated the form of KUPI in April 2017, together with Alimat and Fahmina.  

Several series of Education Program that had been implemented by Rahima for example: Pendidikan Ulama Perempuan (PUP) or Education for the Women Ulama, Madrasah  Tokoh Agama (MTA) or School for Religious Leaders, Pendidikan Ulama Laki-laki (PUL) or Education for the Male Ulama,  Madrasah Rahima untuk Guru-guru Pendidikan Agama Islam School for Islamic Teachers Subjects, Madrasah untuk Santri or School for Pesantren Students, Pendidikan untuk Pengasuh Majelis Taklim or School for Leaders Of Majelis Taklim/Islamic Learning Forum, Pendidikan untuk Kepala KUA or Education for The Leaders of Religious Affairs Office, and etc. 

Publishing

Rahima also publishes books related to the topics of Islam, gender equality and justice, women’s rights in Islam, women ulama or women scholars, and also publishes training modules or modlues of education series. In addition to that, Rahima also publishes periodical magazine Swara Rahima which discussing some topics related to Islam, gender, and women’s rights. Up to now, Rahima had been publishing more the 55 editions. Rahima also created supplements which discussing some issues such as marriage and family, women’s rights and and Sexuality and Reproductive Rights and Health (SRHR),  some contemporary topics strongly related to gender and Islam, such as  fundamentalism, the women ulama and women scholars, environmental conservations, and etc.  The publications are provided in the printed materials; and some are available in the e-files format. 

The purpose of the such publications is to strengthen the women ulama and community leaders in building the reasons and to strengthen their aawareness on the important of equal and justice relationship that are explored from the Islamic perspective and sourced from the Quranic, Hadiths and other popular Islamic refferences, from the both classical and contemporary sources. 

Dissemination of Information and Procurement of Library Services 

To bring the public closer with the issues that are undertaken by Rahima, some publications can be easily accessed by the digital media communication or online, through the website addressed in www.swararahima.com. The public or the enthusiasts to Islam, Gennder, and Women’s Rights Issues also can join in Rahima’s social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter Swara Rahima. 

Rahima also provides library services under specific topics related to Islam,   Gender, and Women’s Rights for the students, researchers, media, and scholars or enthusiasts related to the such topic. All visitors can come directly to Rahima Library in the working days, Monday-Friday from 09.30 am.- 5 pm.
